Vivo Y69: Review and Specifications

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Vivo always try to give you good and better Camera. Which is boring in a way. You just don’t get any high rated or medium rated processors like Snapdragon 835 or Snapdragon 625, but all you get is camera.

They always try to attract consumer,s, who buy their smartphones just to make calls, do some internet and then keep clicking selfies and pictures. Well, if you are one of that kind, you will like this new installment of Vivo too.

The Vivo Y69 released this month, it packs 16 MP of front camera and 13 MP of rear camera. Lets talk about this smartphone in detail.

Camera

As this phone and all of its mates are mostly the camera smartphones, we will start with Camera. This is the best part of this phone, as all of its mates. All Vivo and Oppo phones been best in Camera section especially, so does this one.

The Vivo Y69 comes with 16 MP of front facing selfie camera, which is able to capture crystal clear pictures and with some effects like beautification. There is no doubt that, Vivo and Oppo give the best camera parts at this price ranges.

Front camera is also providing you moonlight selfie to capture better selfies in night too, and there is also bokeh mode.

Primary rear camera is 13 MP sensor with aperture of f/2.2 with general features like geo-tagging and panaroma mode. It does give you features like Night mode and Pro mode to capture better photos.

If you want something special, you will get it, there is option to create live photos. You can bring your photos to life by creating moving images. The live photo feature captures 1.5 seconds of video and audio before and after you press the shutter button to take a photo, so your images look like they are moving.

Design and Display

The Vivo Y69 has the dimensions of 154.6mm Length, 75.5mm width and 7.7 mm of depth, which makes it pretty slim, I mean this smartphone is slimmer then any average phone. Screen to body ratio is 71.4% which is damn average, as the trend of infinity display is ongoing.

Speaking of display, it is 2.5D curved edge 5.5 inch display with 720p resolution. Display is IPS LCD display with Eye protection mode. The Vivo Y69 is lased with ARM MaIi – T860 MP2 Graphics processor.

Software and Other Specs

Fingerprint Reader: The Vivo Y69 comes with Fingerprint reader fast enough to give you access in 0.2 Second, While giving high accuracy rate. It is accurate, but sometimes, it do reject your fingerprint, but it is a normal thing. Overall, it is secure and fast.

Special Software Feature: Vivo is stating to provide smart Screen splitting feature on the Vivo Y69, which is nothing new, because it is running on Android 7.0 Nougat, and Nougat has that feature since the beginning. They are just giving it their own name.

After that feature Vivo is also stating to provide App Clone feature, up till now we were using this feature with third party application like Parallel Space, and Samsung is giving this feature since 2016 may be. So, it is nothing new Again, just copied feature renamed.

Triple Card Slot: Oh! Do not misunderstand this with Triple SIM smartphone, this is a dual SIM smartphone, but with dedicated microSD Card slot. Mostly dedicated microSD Card slots are to be placed in different tray than SIM tray.

This is just a little modifying of what they were giving. It won’t change anything so no one care about this. (and yet I talked this much about this.)

Performance: The Vivo Y69 is powered by MediaTek MT6750 Octa core processor, with 3 GB of RAM. So, this is good enough for some of us to have a great experience. It also provides 32 GB of inbuilt storage.
