Open Graph Meta Tags and sharing link URls for facebook, twitter and google plus

Sharing on social media, of course. The huge audiences of Facebook and Twitter make them the best platforms for sharing, but do you know how to optimize that outreach potential?

Do You Know why open graph was created?

Facebook introduced Open Graph in 2010. It promotes integration between Facebook and other websites by allowing them to become rich “graph” objects with the same functionality as other Facebook objects.

Put simply, a degree of control is possible over how information travels from a third-party website to Facebook when a page is shared (or liked, etc.). In order to make this possible, information is sent via Open Graph meta tags in the <head> part of the website’s code.

To turn your web pages into graph objects and share it on facebook, twitter or google plus, you need to add basic metadata to your page.

Facebook and google plus share almost shame open graph tags while twitter has different open graph tags.

Lets See open graph tags and share link url for facebook twitter and google+

fb:app_id In order to use Facebook Domain Insights you must add the app ID to your page. Domain Insights lets you view analytics for traffic to your site from Facebook. Find the app ID in your App Dashboard.
