there are many people who just started blog and many more people who want to start blog. may be they do not know about SEO. For any new blog digital marketing is very important, because most blogs don’t have direct traffic. They thrive on traffic from search engine.
There are two common SEO PRACTICE : on-page SEO and off-page SEO
On-page seo is the practice of optimizing individual page of your website in order to rank high in search engine.
off-page SEO is what you can do off the website to increase your website’s traffic, like social media sharing, back linking, content submission.
On-page SEO factors which include title tag, meta tag, description, website’s design , content, internal linking, keyword density,URL structure and image SEO are very very important in On-page SEO. and how to use these factors that we are going to see….
Page title plays an important role in on-page SEO. when some one searches on google for topic related to your article. google shows the result containing title tag and description from website related to search topic. Title tag will get people to know that about what the article is. each of your pages and posts must have unique title. title tag must contain related key words.
Don’t forget to add meta description in your article. description is an important place to add keywords as it is displayed in search result when page is listed.

Your website’s visitors must experience good. website should be design considering all viewport means website should be responsive. google consider website design as an important factor while ranking webpages.
If your website doesn’t have quality of content than visitor is not going to spend much time on it. Content should be at-least 250 words long. Write content between 250 to 500 words.
Content should be broke up in smaller sections and paragraphs to make it easy for people to read it. Your post or article heading must be between h1 tag. Search engine considers body structure to determine what is important with in content. don’t use h1 tag at post level more than one time, as it is considered negative SEO practice. High light your content where necessary using strong tag.
include relevant keywords through out your content. but keywords density should not exist more than 1.5% of content. as it leave negative effect on page ranking. use main keyword once in first paragraph. use bold, italic, underline to highlight the keywords.
Internal linking is the process of creating cross linking between posts and pages of your website. so each of your website pages can be navigate easily. it just not only make it easy for visitors to navigate around your site, but also ensure that your website gets properly crawled allowing search engine to find all of your pages.

URL of post should be keyword rich. don’t use query string in URL, use hyphen to separate word when necessary to readability. don’t use underscore,spaces and any other special character in URL. Overuse of hyphens in URLs can be seen as spammy, so it’s best to use caution and limit hyphen use in URLs when possible.

keep URL Shorter if your url is less than 50 to 60 character than you don’t need to worry about it. if your URL Pushing 100+ character you need to rewrite it.
Google and other search engines don’t have trouble to process this url, but issue lies with usability and user experience. Shorter url are easier to parse, to copy and to paste,to share on social media and to embed.
when image is added to your article with a certain consideration will help your article understand a lot. Don’t forget to give your image alt tag and title tag. These tags strengthen the message towards search engine spiders and improve the accessibility to your website.
Meta Keywords are a specific type of meta tag that appear in the HTML code of a Web page and help tell search engines what the topic of the page is. Meta keywords are distinguished from regular keywords because they appear “behind the scenes,” in the source code of your page, rather than on the live, visible page itself.
Meta Keywords are devalued by google because they were being abused by marketers and owners. but still it is unclear that keyword is entirely removed from google algorithm. google kept it secret to deter people from gaming the system.

last but not in the list, create sitemap of your website and submit it to search engines. site map helps search engines to reach to all your website pages and index them properly.
