How to enable Multi Window Multitasking for Any App in Android?

Did you ever feel need of having two different screens in your Android for multitasking with multiple windows like you do in Desktops?

Seems like Google heard our wish. Google is  providing split screen multi tasking in Android v7.0 Nougat. It’s not exactly split screen but it is resizing of any application window, which provide you rest of the window for another application.

For older versions of android, there are applications which provide multi-windows feature. But those applications provide very limited options. However, it is different thing then this feature in Nougat.

You can try those applications, if you have older versions, after all it won’t harm you to take a shot.

Google has came with many new features in Android v7.0 Nougat OS. One of those feature Google came up with is Resizing Feature.

With This feature you can resize any application windows in your desired size. The problem is that it requires developers to enable the feature before it’ll work, making some (many!) apps incompatible right. But like always with Android, there’s a workaround. Best of all, it’s easy peasy.

1. First of all, you have to enable Developer Options.

If you haven’t enabled Developer Options and you don’t know then read it here.

Once “Force activities to be resizable” option is enabled, restart your android phone, before you actually start using it.

When that’s finished, go ahead and give it a whirl. Apps that formerly wouldn’t work with split-screen mode should now work fine for the most part.

Just keep in mind that the results can still be buggy here— after all, you are forcing an app do something it isn’t supposed to do. However, Most of the time,  it works quite well.
