Gionee S10 Specs and Overview: Smartphone with Four Cameras

Two months ago, Gionee Released their selfie centred smartphone Gionee A1 #Selfiestan. Now, they are back with another surprise to the consumers with a Four Camera Smartphone. Yes, you read it correctly, it is with four cameras.

On paper, Gionee S10 could be a great flagship smartphone for Gionee. Chinese company Gionee, gave their all to this new Gionee S10. Biggest Crowd attraction is the Four Cameras. Gionee S10 is lased with four Cameras. Two on the back of the phone and two on the front.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee, is not that much popular in the rest of the world excluding Asia.. And you can say that China and India are their target markets. Now, All we have about this smartphone is the Specifications, I don’t like to judge a phone based on just specifications, but this phone is worth to notice about. Now, that Gionee has successfully attracted their customers with Gionee A1 the Selfiestan, this one will also make a buzz between the Smartphone Experts.

Display

The display in this smartphone is going to be LTPS LCD Display, LTPS stands for Low Temperature PolySilicon. If we go more deep in the display, than there are active matrix LCD and Passive matrix LCD. This one is Active matrix LCD.

LTPS LCD display is faster and more integrated than screens made with amorphous silicon substrates. Main advantage of LTPS display is that this type of LCD’s power consumption is pretty low. Display in this phone is going to be of 5.5 inches with 401 ppi pixel density.

Resolution of display is 1080 pixel by 1920 pixel, which is not a high end display resolution, but that will be doing good enough.

Software & Battery

As far as software concerns, the Gionee S10 will be available with Android Nougat v7.0 and it will be including Gionee’s Amigo OS 4.0.

Now, moving to the battery part, comparing the Gionee S10 with Gionee A1, this is the section where Gionee S10 literally fails. It has 3450 mAh Li-Ion battery, which is good, but Gionee A1 is with better, so the Super Selfie and Super Battery tagline won’t work with this one.

Performance

Gionee has made some changes in the chipset with this smartphone, this will actually get the better chipset than Gionee A1. Gionee S10 comes with Mediatek Helio P25 chipset, which is a lot better than Gionee A1. GPU will also be upgraded for Gionee S10.

Not only that, It also comes with 6 GB of RAM, which is higher than Gionee A1. So, it can provide better performance which is on paper for now. Now as far as internal storage goes, it is of 64 GB with expandable of 256 GB, which is same as Gionee A1.

Camera

So, this is the section, you all have been waiting for. As I mentioned above, Gionee S10 has four cameras, two on the back of the phone and two at the front as selfie cameras.

Talking about dual rear cameras, it is not that big of a deal, nowadays. But combining Dual Rear cameras and Dual Selfie cameras in one smartphone, it does make a great deal.

Among the Rear cameras, one of them will be of 16MP and another one of 8 MP with an aperture of f/1.8. Which will help it to achieve better low-light photography. Other advantages include wider angles, the ability to catch 3D effects, distance measurement and more. Also don’t forget about the Bokeh Effect.

On the front of the Gionee S10, there will be a massive 20 MP Camera, which make it again selfie centred smartphone. And again there will be another one with 8 MP camera.

Rest of the phone

Well, there is not much left in the phone, but one important thing is that this smartphone does not have USB Type C smartphone, which keeps the Gionee S10 away from giving the Tough competition with others. Almost, each and every high end smartphone comes with the USB Type C connector. But Gionee S10 houses microUSB v2.0 connector.

Gionee S10 is also lased with fingerprint scanner at the front of the smartphone with Home button. One more thing, Gionee S10 lacks is quick charge. Yes, this beauty has almost everything, but not quick charge.
