There are lots of email tracking web application available around the web. Here i am going to discuss some free of cost and best of them.

 1 )  Whoreadme

Whoreadme is one of best mail tracking web application. And it is available free of cost.

What You Have To Do To use whoreadme Service From your Email Client?

Just sign up with Whoreadme. And you are ready to use their service.

Bydefault whoreadme provide its compose box to write email. But i dont thing that you are going to use it.

You can use whoreadme service from your email client like gmail.yahoo mail. 

Suppose you want to send mail to johnsmith@gmail.com from your email client then just you have to add suffix “Whoreadme.com” to  your  recipient mail address so here email will be johnsmith@gmail.com.whoreadme.com. as shown below in image.

As recipient read the mail, you will be notified by whoreadme mail containing the detail of  opening time of mail ,sending time and ip address.email recipient notification

 

2) getnotify

Getnotify is another mail tracking web application available free of cost. Same as whoreadme, you just need to register with getnotify. And you can start sending mail to your recipient. But dont forget to add postfix “.getnotiy.com” to your recipent mail address. Email tracking technique is invisible to the recipient.   As Recipent opens the mail. You will be notified by getnotify mail containingg all details informaitin from opening mail time to ip. But in case of gmail and hotmail ip address Related information will not be accurate, because google and hotmail don’t disclose  the actual IP adress of recipient instead, they provide IP adress and location of their servers.

Getnotify  keeps track of your sent emails and send you an Email Return Receipt or Email Read Receipt in the form of an Email Read Notification as soon as your sent email gets opened.
